We may all have the experience of working with an excellent team, and we are eager to join another great team if we can, right?

Today I will talk about the five practices of LOO. If you are destined to be a leader or are learning to become a leader, these five practices help you a lot.

1 Personal Mastery

The word “Personal Mastery”, is the action of “ Clarifying and Deepen Personal Real Desire “

People who are truly chasing Personal Mastery can consistently fulfill their life desires deep in their hearts.

The practice of Personal Mastery is “clarifying what we truly desire? “, which means we are living for a greater, higher desire, goals, and visions.

We can find out a fact, there are lots of learners fulfilling their goals and supporting companies’ goals within the LOO.

2 Improving Mental Models

The mental models are the understanding, personal opinion, stereotype, and imagination about the world. This affects how we think about the world, and we often assume others based on our limited understanding of them or use the wrong first impression to recognize them.

The time we are more willing to share our thoughts in minds with others, the more widely world we will get. That’s because we are collecting a small piece of the world and integrating them into a whole thing.

3 Building Shared Vision

If there is a concept that makes leadership great and urges the organization to work closely, fulfilling great achievement, that must be “Follow the shared vision”

A shared vision can cohere people together, and work as a whole to fulfill great things.

The shared vision will motivate people to study hard and work hard since they are truly believing they can make it.

And this makes the atmosphere of the organization more open-minded.

4 Team Learning

This practice is based on the fact that if people work in a team, the group IQ will lower to only 63. (so funny, but it’s true)

However, we all know that collective intelligence makes great thing happens, and the key to it is “Dialogue”

“Dialogue” is the mode in which people talk about each assumption in their mind, and truly get into collective thinking.

We often encounter the mode of “Self-Defense”, which makes it harder for the group to communicate freely.

If we can talk about all assumptions in our own mind, bring them to the table, discuss them with open minds, and avoid the effects of Self-Defense, we are sure to come up with great ideas and make changes.

5 System Thinking

The world is constructed by different parts but connected and related together.

The whole world is like a big System, each part runs on itself but influences the other.

The influence and pattern of the world, and societies often move are not apparent, which causes us to use our limited insight and understanding to solve the problem (which is workless)
